Coach set down point: Common Hill, CB10 1JH (Tourist Information Centre and Toilets a 2 minute walk).
Coach Park: Swan Meadow Car Park, New Pond Lane, CB10 1BX (6 minutes walk from centre).

Market days: Tuesdays and Saturdays – a wide variety of stalls. An award-winning market.

- St Mary the Virgin (the largest Parish Church in Essex, free lunchtime recitals on selected summer Wednesday lunchtimes, stmaryssaffronwalden.org ) Look out for the “Children of Calais” sculpture as you approach the Church along Church Path.
