We have a suggested cycle route connecting Audley End station to the town of Saffron Walden, just under 2 miles away. This makes it easier for cyclists to take an off-peak train to the local area and then to continue their journey by bike. The route is via Wendens Ambo Road. This road into Saffron Walden is still open to cars, but only in one direction. Cyclists can travel in both directions along the road.
