Working in conjunction with Churches Together in Saffron Walden, the Town Council is delighted to announce that following the Christmas break, its FREE Warm Welcome Hub will be extended to Fridays.
The FREE Warm Welcome in The Town Hall will re-open on Monday 9th January and be available every Monday and Friday thereafter until Monday 3rd April 2023. The revised hours are 12.00 – 15.00; on offer between 12.00 – 14.00 will be soup and a roll, as well as tea, coffee, and biscuits throughout the afternoon. FREE Wi-Fi, games, cards, puzzles, and provision for phone charging will also be accessible. Everyone is welcome to attend, and no booking is required. Please enter via the back door of The Town Hall, facing Starbucks – where you will be greeted by a friendly team of Churches Together volunteers. Sit and have a chat, cuppa and a bowl of warm soup – in a safe, warm space.
