Blue Badge guided tours of the town now available
Saffron Walden Tourist Information Centre has arranged for three Blue Badge guided historical walking tours of the town to take place during the summer months. The tours will be led by Sarah Kirkpatrick, who is an experienced Blue Badge accredited guide and has an unrivalled knowledge of the town. Each takes place on a Sunday afternoon starting at 2.30pm outside the Tourist Information Centre, finishing at around 4pm. Dates are 21st April, 16th June and 18th August, and in each case prebooking is necessary. Places cost £12 and are limited to 15 for each tour. If you are relatively new to the town or area this will be a great way to become more familiar with the history behind the streets and buildings.
