Organised by The Genial Sheep.

This is a 2.5 hour workshop covering the basic techniques to produce felted backed sheep fleeces.

All materials will be provided and you will have a small sample rug (35cm by 25cm) to take away.

Places restricted to 4 participants per session.

Please note that felting is a physical activity so you will need to bring kneeling pads, rubber gloves and lots of elbow grease.

Sessions on Saturday 19th August: 10.00 – 12.30 and also 14.00 to 16.30.

Courses are held on our smallholding in Wimbish near Saffron Walden and there will be plenty of opportunity to visit the sheep that provide most of our fleeces as well as look at what we have been making.
