The Saffron Walden Symphony Orchestra are delighted to present another new commission, this time from young Canterbury-based composer Lewis Edmunds, which promises to be an exciting and dramatic work to open the concert.
The SWSO is delighted to welcome back pianist Jérôme Sadler to play Rachmaninov’s lyrical Rhapsody in a performance delayed from last year. The concert ends with one of Tchaikovsky’s most tuneful and energetic works, his “Little Russian” Symphony, packed full of folk tunes and fun.
