The Town Mayor, Cllr Ahmed will be hosting a Quiz Night to raise vital funds for his chosen charity, Uttlesford Community Action Network (UCAN).  The fundraising event will take place on Friday 17 October, 7pm – 11pm, at Jubilee Hub, Hill Street, Saffron Walden, CB10 1EH.

Join the Mayor, SWTC and UCAN for a fantastic evening of fun, games and brain-teasing questions, all in support of the Mayor’s charity of the year.  Admission is £8 per person which includes a range of delicious Indian snacks kindly provided by the Mayor; these will be served during the interval.  Advance booking necessary – tickets can be purchased at the link above, and teams can be up to eight people.

Do please bring plenty of money!  As this is a fundraising event, please don’t bring extra drinks or snacks unless you are on a special diet. The cash bar will have a good range of soft and alcohol-based drinks; arrive from 7pm to purchase drinks, ready for the quiz to start at 7.30pm.  There will also be a prize raffle, plus bonus games!
