FREE Family half term activities will be available to families on Tuesday 28th October, 10am and 2pm in The Town Hall, CB10 1HR.

Saffron Walden Town Council (SWTC) is delighted to be hosting the event and has collaborated with partners; Saffron Hall, Saffron Walden Library and Saffron Walden Museum – to bring this fun filled session to the town, during the half term week.

At either 10.30am or 11.30am, join members of the cast of Saffron Hall’s pantomime Dick Whittington for a fun-packed session; full of games, music, audience participation and much more! And at either 11am or 12 noon there will be Storytime with Saffron Walden Library.  Said a Saffron Walden Library spokesperson,  “Join us for Dick Whittington themed Storytime – and join in with songs, music, and stories.”

Outside of these timed sessions (between 10am and 2pm), families can enjoy free face painting and get creative with cat & dog mask making by Saffron Walden Castle, and more! Said Museum Manager, Jenny Oxley, “This is always a great event to be involved with – we really enjoy working in partnership with Saffron Walden Town Council on delivering these fun and engaging family events.”
