Crocus Sativus, also known as Saffron Crocus, is an autumn planting and autumn flowering bulb. They produce violet pink flowers with deep veining, dark yellow centres and 3 deep red stigmas. These stigmas produce Saffron, (the most expensive spice in the world) and are cultivated for food colouring and flavouring.
Bee friendly bulbs! Plant September – December.
