Welcome to the multi award-winning Red Lion Inn, a privately owned free house pub restaurant with bed & breakfast accommodation that has resided at the heart of the pretty conservation village of Hinxton, Cambridgeshire, since the 16th Century.

This historic, Grade II listed building provides the perfect backdrop for enjoying fabulous food and drink, in the company of friends, family and colleagues. Exposed beams, well stoked fires and Chesterfield sofas invite you to stay a while and relax, while an impressive oak, dry peg extension is an elegant, spacious room in which to dine.

The menu comprises contemporary and traditional dishes, created with culinary flair and using only the freshest, locally sourced seasonal produce.

In the warmer months, the inn’s quintessentially English, Cambridge walled garden is a tranquil setting in which to eat, drink and socialise under the watchful gaze of the dovecote and village church clock tower.

Eight guest rooms have been sympathetically built within the grounds of the inn, to exacting standards. Inside, they present luxury and comfort; all are double en suite with no compromise on quality (strong and free ethernet/wireless internet access throughout).
