Saffron Screen is a non-profit independent cinema. Its professional auditorium boasts a full-size screen, 200 cinema seats, and Dolby 7.1 surround sound.
It screens a wide range of films including blockbusters, Independent, Art-house and family/children’s as well as hosting Q&As and screening international cultural events including theatre, opera, ballet, and concerts. Saffron Screen seeks, through film, to entertain, educate, create a shared experience, and improve the quality of life for everyone in Saffron Walden and the surrounding area.

Saffron Screen Opening details
We are open Friday to Sunday, with additional screenings in school holidays and for special events.
We offer refreshments and free parking. Alcohol is served every Friday & Saturday night and at most event cinema screenings.
