Two luxury Dutch barns converted into holiday lets, with each barn sleeping 10 people.

They have been finished to an exceptionally high standard, boasting large open-plan living with a private patio and a huge swimspa per property, along with a large shared garden.

Stone flooring throughout the ground floor and wood flooring upstairs, combined with underfloor heating to create a cosy feel in the winter months, not to mention the log burner. A 65″ widescreen tv comes loaded with sky, sky sports and a Netflix account for guests to enjoy, along with a state of the art sound system throughout the barn which allows music to be played in any room from any smartphone.

Each barn has one room which can be set as a twin or superking, the remaining four rooms are a mixture of superking, king and doubles. In total throughout the two barns, seven of the ten rooms have ensuite bathrooms with large family bathrooms and wet rooms catering for the rooms without.

Linens, towels and robes are provided. Highchairs, stairgates and travel cots can be requested.

For those who enjoy fishing, coarse fishing is available within the grounds, 600 yards away (at cost) and a hard tennis court can be booked FOC. Private parking is provided for each property and a lockable shed allows for guests to store their bikes with peace of mind.

These barns are located on the edge of a working farm with stunning views of the British countryside.

Each barn can be booked individually for ten people, or together for twenty people for a minimum of 3 nights.

The local area offers some great walking and cycle routes and there is a pub serving food within a short walk, perfect after a busy day.

Saffron Walden is close by (6 miles), this medieval market town is rich in history and has held a market since 1141. The twice weekly market is now held on a Tuesday and Saturday.

There are several gardens and trails to follow. Audley End House and Gardens is a great day out, where you can explore the mansion house, visit the glorious gardens or discover what life was like as a Victorian servant. The university city of Cambridge is approximately 25 minutes’ drive away, why not enjoy a guided chauffeured tour of the seven colleges on a punt?

This barn conversion project aims to bring the benefits of increased rural tourism to the local area through the conversion of redundant farm buildings to visitor accommodation. It is part funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
