Drake Cottage

The cottage is heavily beamed throughout with accommodation for 4 people with the option of plus 2 using the sofa bed in the sitting room. Bedlinens for sofa bed provided on request. The handcrafted kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven, induction hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer dryer and microwave. The dining room has seating for six people. The cosy sitting room has a comfortable sofa bed and combi TV/DVD with cable TV.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms: one with double bed and en-suite shower room, the second bedroom can be configured with either two single beds or one super king bed dependent on preference.

Bathroom 1 has a roll top bath, basin and toilet. The ensuite shower room has a frameless shower, basin and toilet. Both bathrooms have shaver points and heated towel rails.

The cottage has a small and private courtyard garden equipped with a table, chairs, parasol, bench and BBQ.

The property has Wi-Fi throughout.

Linens, towels and robes are provided.

Parking is on street, outside the property or at nearby Swan Meadow car park.

Attractions within walking distance: Bridge End Gardens, Saffron Walden Museum, The Fry Art Gallery & Historic Audley End House.
