3 miles west of Saffron Walden, we welcome you to our outstandingly beautiful home set in extensive grounds, surrounded by farmland. A well kept secret in the heart of East Anglia, which also offers exclusive retreats for group bookings and creative day courses.

Breathe in deeply, surrounded by nature's busy peace, be inspired by our beautiful countryside - and pause a while.

Our large bedrooms have huge windows facing south and west to enhance your view of the gardens which are full of bird life and mature trees, Two of our bedrooms have private bathrooms and one is en-suite. All rooms are only accessible by stairs with 13 to 18 steps.

The guest drawing room is a perfect space to read by the open fire- or try out the elderly clonkety piano. We have an old dining room which is used for yoga and meditation classes whilst watching the sunset.

The family has lived here for 100 years. We are arable farmers who used to have sheep chomping around in the meadows. Now you will see wild deer and barn owl boxes, not to mention the odd squirrel or two. We are working with the Essex Wildlife Trust on a woodland regeneration program as we believe that respecting the land in which we work and live is the only way to sustain our countryside for future generations to enjoy.
