For exercise and enjoyment...
Bridge End Garden
East of Bridge End Garden are the Anglo American Playing Fields and Cricket Pavilion, the Anglo American Memorial, a children's playground and the Saffron Walden Town Football Club ground at Caton's Lane.
Dogs can be exercised in the area around Bridge End Garden but may not be taken inside the Garden. The Bridge End Garden leaflet can be downloaded here. This leaflet file is copyright of Fraser Parry Photography and should not be reproduced or used under any circumstances without consent.
The floor of the bandstand features a labyrinth design with a sleeping hare in the central octagon.
Occasionally free concerts take place, usually on summer Saturdays.
No dogs please.

If you are visiting The Close Garden, be sure to look at the unusual 17th century "spider" window on The Close (the timber framed house on the corner of Castle Street).
